SODUS, NY – The Sodus Microd Club from Sodus, N.Y., and the Race of Champions have partnered to honor and continue to develop the talent, education and advancement of young racers. Fans visiting the Presque Isle Downs & Casino Race of Champions Weekend at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pa., will see several young drivers honored, including the season long champions from the Sodus Speedway and several event winners.

These drivers will assist in greeting the starting field for the 68th Annual Race of Champions 250 during a special pre-race introduction.

“We recognize and feel that developing the future stars of our sport is a critical element in our business,” offered Joe Skotnicki from the Race of Champions. “The Sodus Microd Club is a very impressive with many talented young racers. We are very fortunate to have them willing to partner with us and look forward to honoring them at such a tremendous event. It gives those young racers something to aspire to reach and helps us recognize that there is bright future for our sport.”
