ENTRY LIST GROWS FOR NORTH-SOUTH SHOOTOUT

SOPHIA, NC – With the 16th annual John Blewett III North South Shootout in Memory of Charles Kepley only a week away, the pre-entry list continues to grow.

The first entry for the NNS was Sammy Rameau in the Central Mass Tree Service ride. Others on the list include the six-time NSS winner, Matt Hirschman in the Pee Dee Motorsports/Boykin Spaniel rescue modified. Southern Modified Racing Series Champion, Jeremy Gerstner is entered in his own #33 with Jerry Hunt Super Center as the sponsor. The Brady Racing #00 will be piloted by Jeff Fultz and Brandon Ward will be at the wheel of the potent #19 SRT/ KP Moto modified.

More pre-entries feature Jamie “the jet” Tomaino, Todd Owen, Hillbilly Racing with James Civali at the controls, Gary Putnam, John Smith, Calvin Carroll, Chuck Hossfeld, Daniel Yates and Mike Norman.

Other probable entries include the Myers Brothers, Jason and Burt. Two-time NSS winner, Burt Myers is partnered with Eddie Harvey Racing in the #1 Fury Modified and will be chasing a $5,000.00 bonus if he wins the event. Myers won the final 2018 SMRS event at Orange County Speedway on October 20th to qualify for the bonus posted by the promoters. Jason Myers will be in the #4, Gary Myers owned car. Jimmy Blewett, Patrick Emerling, Jimmy Zacharis, Jon McKennedy in Tommy Baldwin’s 7ny and Bobby Mesamer, Jr. are on the probable list with more expected.

The 16th Annual John Blewett III North-South Shootout in Memory of Charles Kepley is scheduled for November 8 thru 10. Thursday is an optional practice day and practice starts Friday at 10:00 AM. Qualifying for the Tour Modifieds is set for six on Friday. Grandstands open Saturday at 10:00 AM and the “Pit Party” begins at 12:45 PM and racing gets under way at 2:00 PM.

Other racing action includes the season ending events for the 602 Modified Tour and the 602 Super Limited Series. Champions will be crowned at both of those events. Racing for the Mini Stocks, Street Stocks, the Allison Legacy Series and Vintage racing will wrap up the racing on Saturday.
